The Board requires that an applicant hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a Board-recognized United States college or university,
or an equivalent degree from an institution of higher education in another country.
Degrees are verified by submitting official transcripts with the Application of Intent.
An Application of Intent may not be approved until the baccalaureate degree is awarded and shown on the transcript.
Degrees earned at colleges outside of the United States may require evaluation to determine equivalency to a baccalaureate or higher degree earned from a Board-recognized US college or university.
